Spring Has Sprung!
And so has my creativity!
Dear Readers,
I’ve always found April to be one of the most hopeful months of the year. Spring is here. Flowers are starting to bud and the grass is growing.
The gloom of winter is starting to drift away as the temperatures get warmer, and the days get longer. It’s generally one of my favorite months for this reason. (It will never match October of course, but still.)
This April, however, brought with it a nasty flu. I’ve spent the better part of the last few days in bed, and I think it’s going to be a few more before I’m over it. This, unfortunately, is putting me behind on several projects I’m working on. I do have a deadline coming up pretty soon and I was already running late on it. Eek.
Still, it’s nice to look out the window and see my lilac tree blooming. It always makes me smile. As soon as I’m feeling a little better, I’m going to take my laptop outside to work on the porch, so I can enjoy the gorgeous spring weather while I try to catch up.
